The missions

The Atelier de Restauration et de Conservation des Photographies (ARCP, Conservation and Restoration Laboratory), created in 1983 by the Cultural Affairs Department of the City of Paris, is a center for the restauration and the preventive conservation of photographs.
It was set up in order to enhance and preserve the photographic collections in the possession of the municipal institutions.
